About the Role

The ideal candidate should have the skills to contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere, and the initiative to grow within the firm. A highly motivated and organized individual with demonstrated technical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects is desired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams on healthcare-focused design projects.
  • Document and survey of existing conditions in healthcare facilities.
  • Provide technical support to prepare architectural plans and specifications for construction of healthcare facilities, under the guidance of the Project Architect.
  • Day to day project production and interaction with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Attend and document project team meetings, and review shop drawing submittals under the direction of the Project Architect.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and technical quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare codes, trends and best practices.
  • Assists in curating design schemes, FF&E packages and 3D renderings.

Requirements (perAIA Recent College Graduate guidelines):

  • 3-10 years of work experience in a professional architectural office
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with a Social Security Number
  • NAAB accredited degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) – Required
  • AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office proficiency – Required
  • Proven experience managing projects through all phases.
  • Microsoft Project experience a plus
  • Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling experience is desired, but not required
  • Healthcare design experience is desired, but not required
