Job summary

Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Junior/Assistant Project Manager to join its on-site team. This role offers a salary of USD 80,000–90,000 per year plus benefits and relocation support, with occasional site visits once a week.

You will support Project Managers across commercial construction projects, coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors, and participate in a structured training programme designed to develop your project management skills

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering, Architecture or Building Construction.
• Around 2 years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day management and delivery of commercial construction projects.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor and vendor scopes, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate project teams, meetings, submittals, field reviews and quality control, maintaining clear communication.
• Provide hands‑on project administration and site visits to monitor progress and requirements.
