Job summary

DEKA Research & Development in Manchester, NH is looking for a passionate Junior Project Manager who will support our Quality Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering teams to drive project schedules and manage inspection priorities, ensuring strong communication and alignment across various project teams.

The ideal candidate has an Associates degree and at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills are essential.

Overview

DEKA Research & Development has a great opportunity for a self-motivated Junior Project Manager looking to make a difference within our Quality Operations team. This position will work closely with our Engineering Project Managers to assist in driving the delivery of aggressive goals, managing inspection schedules, and resources for a critical business unit within DEKA. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven, high energy, detailed-oriented, self-starter with strong communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily project activities to achieve results while solving constraint challenges and upholding high performance standards
  • Help organize inspection priorities based on project goals and constraints
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment of inspection objectives across a diverse set of project teams
  • Work closely with Project Management to drive project schedules and resolve roadblocks across all DEKA projects regarding inspection needs
Qualifications
  • Must have at least an Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)
  • Must have 1+ years of expereince
  • Must have experience in a fast paced environment managing schedules, project resources, and utilizing various computer programs
  • Ability to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple activities at the same time
  • High energy, drive, commitment, self-initiative, and perseverance to drive projects forward to completion
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with many engineers and project leaders across DEKA
  • Data Entry experience is a plus
  • Experience in a technical environment is a plus
