Overview

Genesis10 is seeking a Junior Project Manager for our client in the Pharmacy Benefits industry. This 12 month+ position is remote. Work Hours follow Pacific time zone.

W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $45-50/hr

Description

The Jr PM will regularly schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees, and project managers. He/she will prepare the presentation items for the meetings and will share their meeting notes with the Project Manager. When any important decisions or action items are made during the meeting, he/she will follow up on these with the necessary parties who are assigned these responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
  • Supervise projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
  • Coordinate and train new resources on the team
  • Maintain regular communication with project managers and team members sharing issues, accomplishments, risks as necessary
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3-5 years related experience including office management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP) or similar
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team-management and leadership skills
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Attention to details even under pressure
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
