Carepool is hiring two Junior Project Managers to join our Denver team. You will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup setting.

We value innovative thinkers who can make decisions on the fly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results. Hybrid work with on-site support at our Denver office is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project management role or relevant internship is REQUIRED.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with PM methodologies and tools such as Redmine, Jira, Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of risk management and earned value management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and meetings.
• Proficient in budgeting and cost control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and provide progress updates.
• Monitor progress and track KPIs.
• Prepare project documentation: status reports, minutes, and specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective communication.
• Support PM in identifying process improvements and best practices.

Job Overview

We are seeking 2 highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Managers to join our team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure successful completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone continue development of their project management skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Carepool is ahead of the curve and we need innovative thinkers who can make decisions on the fly as we build the brand.

Duties

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress
• Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Support the Project Manager in identifying process improvements and implementing best practices

Experience

• Previous experience in a project management role or relevant internship REQUIRED
