Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in engineering or construction management to support operations, projects, and field activities in chemical plant environments.

The role involves coordinating engineering and construction activities, interfacing with operations and contractors, tracking schedules and deliverables, and helping ensure safe, efficient project execution on site.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience as Project Engineer, Operator, Engineer, or similar (transition into PM)
• Engineering or Construction Management degree required
• Experience in chemical plants, refineries, or similar industrial facilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D required

Job Description

Seeking a Project Engineer with an engineering or construction management background and 2–5 years of experience supporting operations, projects, or field activities within a chemical plant, refinery, or similar industrial facility. The current Project Manager has multiple projects and is looking for administrative technical support. They will be handling logistics and maintain schedule and action items to support the project manager, taking load off them. The Project Engineer will coordinate engineering and construction activities, support project execution and field operations, interface with operations and contractors, track schedules, and deliverables, and help ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and site standards. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in an active plant environment. They have several PM’s that they will be supporting and working with.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience Project Engineer, Operator, Engineer, or something similar (if wanting to transition into PMing)
• Engineering Degree or Construction Management Degree
• Industry experience: Chemical Manufactures, pipes rotating equipment, plants.
• AutoCAD (3D)
