Job summary

Garney Construction, a leader in the water infrastructure industry, seeks an entry-level project management assistant. You will support the management team with material negotiations, document control, and acting as a liaison among owners, architects, and engineers.

The role involves creating Submittals and RFIs, coordinating projects from start to finish, and assisting with estimating, setup, closeout, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Entry-level project management experience is acceptable.
• Willingness to travel and work required hours to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with negotiating and purchasing materials.
• Create Submittals and RFIs and maintain project documents.
• Coordinate projects from start to finish, including estimating, setup, closeout, and field support.
• Maintain detailed job costs and interact with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Support scheduling of projects and crews.
