Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking Project Engineers for Alaska (Kodiak & Anchorage). You will support a busy project team with daily coordination, document control, procurement, QA/QC, subcontractor coordination, and site layout activities. The role involves safety oversight, progress reporting, and contributing to estimating efforts as needed.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1+ years of relevant experience or internships; some roles may require relocation to project sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project environments or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
