Job summary

Metra is seeking a Programmer Analyst 1 to support its Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. You will assist in developing and maintaining applications to extend EAM capabilities, write automation scripts, and create reports across multiple platforms.

You will coordinate with vendors and end users to map business processes, ensure data security, and support system implementations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT qualifies for the role.
• Familiar with install, troubleshoot, upgrade applications and resolve errors.
• Familiar with relational databases and EAM systems.
• Familiar with Windows/iOS programming languages for app development.
• Familiar with REST/API for system integrations.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to relay technical info to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and on project teams.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of applications to add EAM functionality.
• Write automation scripts for simple requests; create and manage reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, end users, and SMEs to map and integrate processes.
• Ensure EAM systems work properly and meet workflows and system requirements.
• Assist with system implementations, support, and maintenance; ensure data security and integrity.
• Define roles, permissions, and access; contribute to end-user training materials.
• Track system performance and troubleshoot issues; create service tickets for complex problems.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment.
