Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking a Junior Program / Project / Management Analyst to join the NAS Patuxent River team. You will apply structured analytic methods to evaluate objectives and track deliverables, collaborating with senior analysts on data spanning schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting program data, monitoring status and milestones, and preparing standardized reports and slides

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 0–3 years in program analysis, project tracking, data management, or business ops.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel for data organization.
• Strong analytical reasoning, detail orientation, and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, and product programs for baseline reporting.
• Monitor daily program status, milestones, and master schedules to identify timeline shifts.
• Assist in analyzing requirements, status updates, budgets, and schedules to keep objectives aligned.
• Perform basic analyses under guidance to evaluate operational alternatives.
• Compile findings into spreadsheets, status reports, and presentations for reviews.

The Position:

This position is awaiting contract award.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Program / Project / Management Analyst to join our team supporting the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Patuxent River. In this foundational role, you will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives and track mission-critical deliverables. You will collaborate with senior analysts to gather, organize, and interpret data spanning project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements, helping ensure the seamless execution of naval aviation acquisition and product programs.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, project acquisition, and product programs to support baseline reporting.
• Monitor and track daily program status, project milestones, and integrated master schedules to identify potential timeline shifts.
• Assist in analyzing program requirements, status updates, budgets, and schedules to ensure project objectives remain aligned.
• Perform basic management, technical, or business case analyses under the guidance of senior team members to evaluate operational alternatives.
• Help compile analytical findings into standardized spreadsheets, status reports, and presentations for team and stakeholder reviews.

Qualifications:

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in program analysis, project tracking, data management, or business operations (prior internships or introductory experience within a defense or corporate setting is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data organization).
• Strong analytical reasoning, high attention to detail, excellent written communication, and a proactive willingness to learn DoD acquisition structures.
