Responsibilities

  • Prepare program/project briefings, plans, concept papers, white papers, meeting minutes, action item reports, and other required program planning documentation.
  • Perform operational, administrative, and executive functions for external/internal Project/Program Managers.
  • Analyze and evaluate projects to provide information for planning, monitoring, and resource allocation including financial and contractual data.
  • Develop and maintain electronic information and databases concerning installation, operation, maintenance, and alteration of systems and equipment.
  • Analyze data to identify problems and trends.
  • Review contractual requirements and participate in defining project/program requirements.
  • Develop evaluation methodology and collect data to determine goal achievement.
  • Create queries and produce custom reports from databases.
  • Develop documentation, reports, and project plans and prepare and present briefings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project/program meetings and events.

Job description

R&P is looking for a motivated candidate who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Junior Program Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

  • Prepare program/project briefings, plans, concept papers, white papers, meeting minutes, action item reports, and other required program planning documentation.
  • Perform operational, administrative, and executive functions for external/internal Project/Program Managers.
  • Analyze and evaluate projects and/or programs to provide project and program managers information to be used in planning, monitoring, and resource allocation including financial and contractual data.

  • Analyze various data to identify problems and trends.
  • Review contractual requirements and participate in defining project and/or program requirements.

  • Implement strategies for deploying and implementing new program planning policy initiatives and measure effectiveness of implementation.
  • Create queries and produce custom reports from databases.
  • Develop documentation, reports, and project plans and prepare and present briefings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project/program meetings and events.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Higher degree can be substituted for years of experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and tools such as Power Point, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support customer requirements.
