Responsibilities

• Foster a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures, PPE, and continuous improvement tools.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• Own Tier 2 boards, keeping them updated to support the management team for strategic decisions.
• Adapt and react quickly to changes based on customer delivery requirements.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assisting operators with continuous improvement efforts.
• Support managers on employee performance reviews and GPD conversations.
• Own the employees’ timecards and time-off requests.
• Recommend training and development of existing personnel skills.
• Work with the maintenance department to ensure all production machines are repaired and running properly.
• Lead in resolving quality issues and problems.
• Own the 5S program in the assigned area.
• Champion the company’s Vision, Mission and Culture Characteristics in every action and decision.
• Actively participate in the Employee Suggestions Program.
• Perform any other job duties required.
