Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an entry-level product systems validation professional in Columbus, Indiana.

You will verify and validate Cummins products across diverse customer requirements and environments, planning and evaluating tests to drive quality decisions and preemptively resolve issues before customer delivery. You will work with DVP&R stakeholders to define requirements, apply statistical methods, and contribute to process improvements while coordinating with technicians and junior team

Qualifications

Entry level/early career professional
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field is required
MS Office tools experience preferred

Responsibilities

Defines technical requirements with stakeholders and delivers verification plans.
Makes decisions in verification and validation affecting performance, reliability, and durability.
Addresses potential component issues and documents results with guidance.
Applies improvements to processes and tools (iDFMEA, ESW, DVP&R, test planning).
Owns problem resolution for moderately complex components and teams coordinate work.
Executes established work processes while developing product knowledge; may coordinate technicians.
Contributes to team goals and exhibits influence within the group.
Analyzes data and accepts action plans for quality improvements.
