Job summary

UST is seeking a Junior Functional Analyst / Product Owner to join an international team operating 100% remotely in Spain. The role focuses on gathering requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with IT to define functional needs, while gaining exposure to financial products, APIs, REST services and Agile practices.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of financial products and data systems, strong English, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to grow in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of financial products, preferably Wholesale Banking (FX, Fixed Income or Rates is a plus).
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST services and databases is desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Language: High level of English (B2).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements under the guidance of senior functional analysts.
• Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end business processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to clarify functional requirements.
• Prepare functional documentation (Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories).
• Support the definition, preparation and execution of functional and UAT test cases.
• Assist in project tracking, reporting and status updates.
• Work effectively with different business and technology stakeholders.
