Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the Operating Partners NY Forum with the Associate Director.
  • Own production of one Operating Partners event with guidance, e.g., The Operating Partners Human Capital Forum.
  • Collaborate with Conferences and Editorial teams to craft market-leading PEI agendas.
  • Conduct research with private equity operating partners to shape agendas.
  • Recruit high-level industry speakers to bring expertise and influence.
  • Coordinate with Sponsorship Sales to align content with commercial goals.
  • Build relationships with senior speakers, sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Support audience growth via marketing and list-building teams.
  • Drive delegate sales by guiding the in-house telesales team.
  • Innovate event formats and agendas, especially for Operating Partners Forums.

About The Role

We are seeking a Junior Producer to join PEI Group, supporting the production of our Operating Partners New York Forum while independently leading the production of another Operating Partners event. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to develop their producing skills within a supportive team environment, with the opportunity to work alongside a senior conference producer on a further European-based Operating Partner event to gain broader experience across the full event lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Operating Partners Associate Director to develop and grow the Operating Partners NY Forum.
  • Take full ownership of the production of one Operating Partners event, with appropriate support and guidance (The Operating Partners Human Capital Forum).
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Conferences team and Editorial to develop and deliver compelling, market-leading agendas for PEI events.
  • Drive research with private equity operating partners to develop compelling agendas.
  • Identify and recruit high-level industry speakers who bring expertise, insight and influence to our events.
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship Sales Manager to ensure strong alignment between the content and commercial objectives of each event.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior speakers, sponsors and other key stakeholders across the alternatives industry.
  • Support the growth of event audiences, working closely with our in-house list-building and marketing teams.
  • Drive delegate sales across the event portfolio by providing clear direction, content and support to the in-house telesales team.
  • Innovate with event formats and agenda structures, with a particular focus on creating new and engaging approaches for the Operating Partners Forums.
About You
Essential Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial conference production or commercial experience in another field
  • Experience working within financial or private equity conferences role is desirable but not essential
