Job summary

Novo Nordisk is hiring for a production operator in Clayton, NC to run utility and RMS equipment in support of API-US production. You will receive materials, complete training, and help meet environmental, health and safety goals while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree and BioWork certification. Prior experience in a regulated setting is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA preferred in related field.
• Minimum 6 months in a regulated industry is required.
• Experience with utility/raw material systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic batch records and GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate utility and RMS process equipment for API-US production.
• Receive materials and perform training aligned with EHS policies.
• Maintain SOPs and document deviations to minimize downtime.
• Support plant operations with maintenance and optimization activities.
• Perform site rounds and inspections, and ensure cGMP compliance.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
