Job summary

Fluid Quip Technologies seeks an entry-level Process Engineer 1 (PE1) to support foundational process engineering from concept through detailed design, commissioning and startup at Cedar Rapids, IA. Under guidance, you will build technical expertise while contributing to project deliverables and client communications.

You will gain exposure to FEL stages, design reports, and process calculations in Excel and ChemCAD, with a focus on accuracy and learning across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• FE exam passed or in progress preferred.
• 0–5 years of practical engineering experience, including internships.

Responsibilities

• Gains foundational understanding of process startup activities and troubleshooting.
• Prepares Design Basis, Mass & Energy Balances, P&IDs under guidance.
• Presents Process Engineering deliverables to clients and supports team in solutions.
