Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking a Jr Process Engineer to provide engineering support in the Cleveland area. You will help ensure products meet customer specs, support QA activities, and participate in capital improvement projects to improve process reliability and production flow.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with plant engineers and maintenance, with a focus on data-driven improvements, standard work, and proactive safety practices.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• At least 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to build relationships across all plant levels.
• Proficient with Excel, SAP and standard work/SOP concepts.
• Knowledge of ISO, safety and process improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and product specs to set quality and reliability objectives.
• Support plant metrics reporting and site plan quality control.
• Design measurement and control systems for plant processes.
• Assist with capital projects and maintenance planning.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance to improve processes and ensure safety.
