Placements24 is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support our client's operations in George. This early-career role offers hands-on experience in optimizing chemical production processes, working with senior engineers to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.

You will learn to conduct basic simulations, document P&IDs and operating procedures, and contribute to safe, efficient plant operations while developing skills through mentorship and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0-3 years of internship or work experience in chemical processing.
• Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing chemical process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
