Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery following detailed procedures to shape metal components efficiently and accurately.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine appropriate machine settings and material placement.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to position and secure workpieces, ensuring correct alignment and stability during operation.
• Adjust machine parameters including force, speed, and angle to meet production requirements and maintain consistent quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and tests on finished parts to verify compliance with technical specifications and identify any defects or deviations.
• Maintain accurate production records including machine logs, material usage, and quality control documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Adhere rigorously to workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of materials and tools.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance operational skills and stay updated with new technologies or process improvements.
