Job summary

MTS Systems Corporation is seeking a qualified engineer to design, develop and optimize power conversion systems for next-generation products. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from concept to validation and production release.

You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical and systems teams to ensure robust designs, perform thermal and circuit analyses, and guide verification and documentation efforts. Global travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or related field with related work experience.
• Experience designing, developing and validating electrical products and systems.
• Familiarity with power conversion topologies and control algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize power conversion systems and circuits across the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and systems engineering teams.
• Lead hardware verification, EMI/EMC compliance and testing.
• Create design documentation including schematics, BOM and test plans.
