Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Junior Data Analyst/BI Analyst to support a government customer in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, integrating data from multiple sources, and creating executive-style reports and scorecards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field and strong Power BI, SQL, and data integration skills.

U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field.
• Advanced Power BI Desktop and Service experience.
• Strong SQL, data integration, and modeling skills.
• Experience working with data warehousing, ETL, and star schemas.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Create visualizations communicating KPIs, trends, and performance.
• Build data models using DAX, Power Query, and Dataflows.
• Integrate data from SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud sources.
• Manage security, refreshes, and workspace governance.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.
• Validate data accuracy and document procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reports.
• Develop executive briefings, scorecards, and analyses.
• Provide user training on dashboards and self-service reporting.
