Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks a Junior Project Manager for its architectural metals and glazing projects in New York. The role supports senior PMs on commercial glazing, storefront, and curtain wall initiatives, coordinating with GCs, designers, vendors, and field crews.

You will review drawings, assist with procurement, and help track costs and schedules, using Procore and Microsoft Office to keep records up to date.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Background in glazing, storefront, curtain wall, architectural metals, or building envelope preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Construction-related degree or technical education preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day management of commercial glazing and storefront projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project schedules.
• Assist with material procurement, fabrication, deliveries, and installation coordination.
• Communicate with GCs, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Track project costs, change orders, invoices, and documentation.
• Help maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with field teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Assist with resolving project issues and coordinating solutions.
• Attend project meetings and provide project updates.
• Maintain accurate project records using Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout, and final documentation.
