Job summary

Carter's Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated Junior Plumber in White Lake, MI. You will learn residential plumbing by working with experienced plumbers, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs, while building a long-term career in the trade.

You don’t need to know everything on day one—we’re looking for someone dependable, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a supportive team environment that emphasizes safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Experience in residential plumbing service and repairs is preferred.
Desire to learn and grow a long-term plumbing career.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand/tools work.
Ability to work with customers and teammates professionally.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Willingness to learn plumbing systems, codes, and safety.
Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced plumbers with residential service, repairs, replacements and installations.
Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
Work on water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains and other systems.
Perform hands-on training and learn proper repair techniques.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site and tools.
Document work accurately with guidance from team.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates.
