Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Springfield, NJ is seeking a Jr. Planner/Buyer to support production planning, purchasing, and inventory control. You will analyze inventory data, prepare POs, track deliveries, and communicate with suppliers to maintain stock levels and meet production needs.

Responsibilities include expediting materials, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting with MRP/ERP-driven work orders and material requisitions to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in a fast-paced precision production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Production control systems and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) beneficial.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and supplier quality management systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Route and expedite raw material, components, engineering documents, Blueprints, etc., in and between departments to ensure uninterrupted flow of projects.
• Revise and re-schedule orders to meet priorities of team as directed by Planner or Project manager.
• Compile and prepare reports tracking material movements for Project Manager and Planners.
• Collaborate with area owners to coordinate preparation of Schedules and reports.
