Qualifications

• 0-1 year animal related experience; shelter volunteering or pet sitting preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue a grooming career.
• Capable of handling dogs of all sizes with care.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming services (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear and gland cleaning).
• Ensure animal well-being and safety in the salon.
• Provide professional customer service to pet parents.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools.

Education

0-1 year animal experience

High school diploma preferred
