Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming in Massachusetts. You will learn bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming under the guidance of seasoned groomers during a ten-week training period, building a solid foundation for a grooming career.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience, preferred
• High-school diploma or GED preferred
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming
• Capable of handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision of experienced groomers, perform limited grooming tasks such as bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, and ear cleaning
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide optimal customer service
• Maintain a clean grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain grooming records
• Learn and adhere to Petco's grooming policies, standards, and guidelines
