The role emphasizes customer service, animal welfare, and progressive skill development in grooming, with weekends and evenings required as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of animal-related experience, including shelter volunteering or pet-sitting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for animals and desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Ensure animal well-being and safety in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean grooming area and sanitize tools per policy.
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records.
