Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist to begin a grooming journey. The role starts with a ten-week training period learning bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, and basic grooming under seasoned groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year animal related experience (shelter volunteering or pet sitting preferred)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services under supervision (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning)
• Ensure animal well-being and safety at all times
• Provide professional customer service and address grooming inquiries
