Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist to begin a grooming journey with a ten-week training program focused on bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming. You will work under seasoned groomers, gaining hands-on skills and safety awareness while delivering friendly customer service to pet parents.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience or grooming assistance preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue a grooming career.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the grooming schedule.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under supervision.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and equipment; assist with cleaning tasks as needed.
• Schedule grooming appointments and manage grooming records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies, standards, and guidelines.
