Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist – Grooming to learn and perform bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under experienced groomers. The role emphasizes pet safety and exceptional customer service within a supportive training program.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of animal-related experience (shelter volunteering or pet sitting).
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and interest in grooming.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming services (bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, gland cleaning).
• Ensure animal well-being and safety in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment.
• Schedule appointments, manage paperwork, and keep grooming records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and guidelines.
