Petco Grooming is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist to begin their grooming career with a 10-week on-the-job training program. You will learn bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under seasoned groomers’ guidance.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience or volunteering preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming.
• Effective communication with pet parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services under supervision: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area; disinfect tools and equipment; assist with cleaning tasks.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain accurate grooming records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies, standards, and guidelines.
