Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. welcomes you to begin your grooming career as a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming. You’ll undergo a ten-week training program with hands-on experience in bathing, drying, nail trimming, and more under seasoned groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year animal-related experience preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue a grooming career.
• Basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and grooming practices.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform limited grooming tasks: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide optimal customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area; sanitize tools and equipment; perform routine cleaning.
• Schedule grooming appointments, manage paperwork, and maintain records.
• Learn and adhere to Petco grooming policies and standards.
