Overview

Metric5 is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer with 1-2 year’s development experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of PeopleSoft architecture. As a Junior Developer, the candidate will adhere to requirements and follow guidance to perform development, configuration, and maintenance. Activities include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting system enhancements in an Agile environment. Candidate must be able to learn quickly to build upon their base PeopleSoft skillset.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis, design, code and testing for a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system
  • Coordinate with Agile team members to understand client business needs and requirements and design technical solutions that meet those business requirements in adherence with application architecture
  • Develop PeopleSoft technical solutions
  • Provide production support to include troubleshoot, fix, and maintenance activities
  • Create reports and queries using SQL and PeopleSoft Query
  • Interact in a collaborative fashion with the development team to ensure delivery of quality software products
  • Identify and troubleshoot coding issues in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and ensure to complete project within assigned timelines.
  • Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities.
Required knowledge and experience
  • 1+ years development experience with a PeopleSoft system
  • 1+ years working with the following PeopleSoft modules: Core HR, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Absence Management
  • Experience developing on an Oracle Database platform strongly preferred
  • Relevant experience clearly documenting defect information to include analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes
  • PeopleSoft Federal experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues related to defects and enhancements
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed to achieve results
  • Demonstrated track record of analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical information
  • Experience performing development or O&M in Peoplesoft
Education

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or related field

Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Clearance

Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a government agency Clearance.
