Job summary

Cognizant is hiring for an Enterprise Platform Systems role in the U.S. The position requires relocation to Mesa, AZ, with an August 2026 start date and a base annual salary of $65,000, plus eligibility for incentives. You will build and maintain Pega-based solutions, create APIs and microservices, and work in Agile teams using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on programming in Python and/or Java with object-oriented design.
• Experience with distributed computing and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Data Science/AI/ML/Decisioning.
• Understanding of data structures & algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for system integration.
• Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement case lifecycle using Pega App Studio and Dev Studio.
• Configure data models, validation, types, transforms, and relationships.
• Build user interfaces and dashboards within Pega.
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs for system integration.
• Assist designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Debug and resolve application issues using Pega tools.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Maintain technical documentation for workflows and configurations.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Perform unit and integration testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
