Job summary

EXPANSIA in Hollywood, MD is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support aerospace programs, including aircraft system integration and PCB development. You will work on schematic development, cable wiring diagrams, and the translation of electrical architectures into manufacturable PCB solutions.

The role requires a ABET-accredited EE/CE degree and 1+ year PCB experience, with the potential to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• 1+ years of PCB development experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level electrical schematics for aircraft and ground-based systems.
• Design and document cable fabrication drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Interpret and generate aircraft electrical schematics and power distribution architectures.
• Develop PCB designs from schematic capture through fabrication package (Gerbers, BOMs, etc.).
• Conduct electrical integration and testing of system prototypes and production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete system integration.
