Job summary

The Royal Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Junior Multidisciplinary Designer to contribute to retail displays and packaging. You will develop CAD models, die lines, and documentation under guidance, while learning material specs and finish choices, with exposure to graphic development and print production.

Ideal candidates have a portfolio spanning both disciplines, a relevant degree, and 0–2 years of experience, plus foundational CAD and Adobe skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; internship or co-op in packaging or graphic design preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating aptitude in both disciplines.
• Foundational CAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and engineering of retail display and packaging solutions.
• Develop CAD models, die lines, and assembly drawings to standards.
• Learn material specifications, and cost considerations behind those choices.
• Participate in sample creation and prototyping, validating construction and stability.
• Support graphic development for displays and packaging from concept to final release.
