Job summary

KBR is seeking a Junior Operations Research Analyst to support Headquarters, US Air Force A5/7, Force Modernization, at the Pentagon and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The role uses data science, OR, and analytics to study future Air Force capabilities and create wargaming concepts.

At least a Bachelor’s in OR/Math/Engineering and 1–4 years of related experience are required, with possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work capability in the National Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in operations research or related technical field.
• Strong written communication and analytical reporting skills. Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to work 100% on-site at the Pentagon and/or other National Capital Region facilities.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Headquarters, US Air Force A5/7, Force Modernization at client sites in the Pentagon and JBA, with OR analysis.
• Employ data science, mathematics, statistics, OR, data analytics, and engineering to analyze future Air Force capabilities.
• Develop and study concepts of employment and vignettes to support wargaming; assist with data visualizations.
