Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer in Washington, DC to deliver simple solutions to complex problems for a prestigious federal client. You will design, develop, test, and debug software, shaping user experiences and ensuring reliability in a fast-paced government environment.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work on end-to-end software products, write documentation, and stay current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience including design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570) and Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex software products.
• Integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules into capabilities.
• Resolve complex hardware/software interface issues.
• Research emerging technologies for impact on applications.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
