Job summary

S27a is seeking a Junior Software Engineer based in Reno, NV or Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our core software products, utilizing C# and .NET technologies.

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, foundational skills in C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and an eagerness to learn.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Foundational C# and .NET skills — you understand object‑oriented principles.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Exposure to SQL and relational database concepts.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain C# / .NET backend and JavaScript / HTML / CSS frontend code.
Collaborate with senior engineers through code reviews and sprint planning.
Debug and resolve software defects and root-cause issues.
Build and consume REST APIs and work with SQL Server databases.
