Job summary

Lennar is seeking an early-career Software Engineer 1 to help build and evolve our flagship digital web presence. You will work on back-end and full-stack services using .NET and SQL Server, with exposure to GraphQL and RESTful APIs, collaborating with product and QA teams to deliver reliable, secure integrations across services and data stores.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
0–2 years in software engineering with interest in back-end and full-stack development across modern web platforms.
Exposure to building scalable services with .NET and eagerness to learn GraphQL and REST API design.
Familiarity with relational data modeling and SQL Server; CMS platforms (Optimizely a plus) is a bonus.
Cloud familiarity (Azure, AWS, or GCP) a plus; agile mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain back-end and full-stack services with guidance, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
Write clean, readable, and maintainable code, learning and applying best practices and coding standards.
Help build back-end services using .NET and contribute to API layers leveraging GraphQL (and REST as needed); learn to write and optimize data access patterns with SQL (preferably SQL Server). Front-end development in React/Next.js is a plus.
