The successful candidate will contribute to hull shape development, structural assessments, and acceptance testing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet ABS, CFR and USCG requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in naval architecture or related engineering field.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with ABS, CFR, USCG, NVIC, SOLAS and related rules.
• Ability to use computer aided engineering software and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Conceives and defines ship hull shapes and forms.
• Evaluates designs for regulatory and contractual compliance (stability and performance).
• Conducts structural analysis of primary structures and foundations.
• Performs stability analysis and inclining experiments.
• Evaluates vessel performance and loads for certificates and layouts.
• Assists in design proposals including size, weight, speed, propulsion, cargo, drafts.
• Review dock and sea trial results to guide design changes.
