Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0–3 years of middleware administration or related IT infrastructure experience.
• Training in middleware provisioning, configuring, and maintenance in multi‑tier environments.
• Foundational security standards and lifecycle management knowledge.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for federal IT environment.
• Less than 10% travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and configuring middleware components to support enterprise integration.
• Monitor middleware health, logs, and alerts; triage incidents and escalate as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance including patches, config updates, and post-change validation.
• Support migrations and upgrades; validate key integration points after deployments.
• Configure access controls, certificates, and basic encryption to align with security policies.
• Document backup/recovery steps and maintain runbooks and topology diagrams.
• Coordinate with application, database, and network teams for end‑to‑end connectivity.
• Ensure compliance with change management and security baselines.
