Job summary

TechAID Solutions LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of web development projects.

You will collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to create test plans, write test cases, and identify issues throughout the development process. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of QA methodologies and web technologies, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related roles.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, documentation practices, and technical writing.
• Ability to grasp core concepts to effectively follow project workflows.
• Familiarity with Web Services, APIs, XML, and HTTP/HTTPS concepts.
• Experience testing CMS platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop test plans and test cases
• Interpret user experience and business needs to design effective test scenarios
• Assist in defining and validating the definition of done for development tasks
• Create acceptance criteria for development work
• Develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools
• Take part in daily stand-up meetings with the development team
• Attend weekly project status updates
• Manage and execute testing across multiple projects concurrently

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience and strong capabilities in the following areas:

• 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related roles
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, documentation practices, and technical writing
• Ability to grasp core concepts to effectively follow project workflows
• Capability to interpret database diagrams with guidance from technical leads
• Willingness to learn and understand how websites function from a technical standpoint
• Familiarity with Web Services, APIs, XML, XSL, and related technologies
• Basic understanding of hosting environments
• General awareness of DNS records, MX records, and IP addressing is a plus
• Clear understanding of HTTP vs. HTTPS, including their usage and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clients, developers, and designers
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Must be able to work within Pacific Time (PT) business hours
