Job summary

Aquent in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Merchandise Designer to support development and approvals of licensed merchandise. You’ll help shape 2D concepts and ensure designs align with brand and character guidelines.

Ideal for recent design grads with 1–2 years of experience, you’ll collaborate with designers, licensees and internal teams, learn merchandise development and build a portfolio across entertainment products.

Qualifications

• Design degree or related creative background.
• Entry-level to 1–2 years of experience.
• Strong design sense and attention to detail.
• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills.
• Great organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in merchandise, consumer products, entertainment, or licensing.

Responsibilities

• Help design and review 2D product concepts
• Collaborate with designers, licensees, and internal creative teams
• Review product submissions and provide creative feedback
• Help ensure products maintain strong brand and character integrity
• Organize product samples and creative assets
• Support multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Learn the ins and outs of merchandise development and creative approvals
