Job summary

Blue United Sourcing seeks a Junior Medical Physicist in Valdosta, GA to join its Radiation Oncology team. ABR Part 1 completed and residency progress toward certification are preferred. Work alongside an ABR-certified physicist to ensure safe, accurate radiation therapy.

The role includes calibration, dosimetry, QA, safety, and compliance in an outpatient cancer center, Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with no weekends or call.

Qualifications

• ABR Part 1 completed or in progress toward board certification.
• Residency completed or sufficiently advanced to continue toward ABR certification.
• Graduate degree in Medical Physics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform and verify external beam and brachytherapy dosimetry.
• Maintain QA and regulatory documentation.
• Support radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists.
