What You'll Do
- Develop media planning support materials — Assist in the preparation and maintenance of media plans, flowcharts, authorization documents, budget tracking tools, and campaign records. Ensure planning materials are accurate, current, and organized so planners, buyers, and account teams can execute campaigns efficiently.
- Compile audience, market, and competitive data — Gather audience insights, market information, media consumption data, and competitive intelligence from approved sources to support planning analyses and help identify opportunities relevant to client objectives and local market conditions.
- Maintain planning and reporting systems — Enter, update, validate, and organize information within planning tools, spreadsheets, flowcharts, pacing reports, and media systems. Help ensure campaign data remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with approved plans and documentation standards.
- Support campaign execution and readiness — Partner with planners, buyers, vendors, and internal teams to confirm campaign requirements, creative assets, approvals, specifications, and launch timelines are complete and ready for execution. Escalate risks, delays, or missing information promptly.
- Monitor campaign pacing and delivery — Track campaign delivery, timing, budget utilization, and key milestones against approved plans. Identify underdelivery, overdelivery, scheduling concerns, or reporting discrepancies and communicate findings to planners and partner teams for resolution.
- Support media budget stewardship — Assist with invoice verification, billing documentation, reconciliation support, and budget tracking activities. Compare vendor charges and supporting records against approved plans and elevate discrepancies to help maintain financial accuracy and accountability.
- Assist with reporting and client deliverables — Prepare campaign summaries, delivery reports, proof-of-performance documentation, presentation materials, and other supporting resources used in client communications, stewardship meetings, and post-campaign reporting.
- Develop media planning expertise and industry awareness — Develop foundational knowledge of media planning principles, audience strategy, channel capabilities, campaign measurement, and integrated communications through training, observation, and participation in planning activities. Apply new knowledge and industry trends to assigned responsibilities while preparing for increased planning ownership.

Qualifications
- Media Coursework — Academic coursework, internship work, or documented training in media planning, media research, digital advertising, analytics, or marketing communications is preferred because the role requires immediate support of planning documents, reporting tools, and channel coordination across broadcast, digital, and out-of-home media.
- Relevant Degree — Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a closely related field, or equivalent training and experience that demonstrates foundational knowledge of paid media, audience analysis, and campaign coordination.
- Multi Channel Support — Demonstrated experience supporting work across two or more paid media channels such as digital, broadcast, audio, print, or out-of-home, with evidence of maintaining accurate documentation, meeting deadlines, and escalating delivery or billing issues appropriately.
- Planning Experience — 0-2 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, or agency support roles, including internships, with verifiable involvement in campaign planning, trafficking, reporting, budget tracking, or vendor coordination.
- Agency Training — Completion of employer, vendor, or industry training in media planning tools, billing workflows, ad operations, or campaign quality control is acceptable formal credential evidence when it can be verified and directly supports execution accuracy in junior media planning work.
- Platform Credentials — Current entry-level certifications in relevant advertising or analytics platforms, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, or equivalent media training, may be used as supplemental evidence of readiness to work in planning and reporting systems but are not required if comparable hands-on experience is documented.
