The Manitowoc Company in Manitowoc, WI is seeking an Engineer I to perform entry-level product design, engineering and documentation for our crawler crane product line. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering and work in a office environment with exposure to the shop floor and test environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, proficiency with 3D engineering software (prefer Creo), and a solid grasp of mechanical systems. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience with 3D engineering software, preferably Creo.
• General knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel).
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Perform entry-level product design, engineering and documentation for new and current crawler crane products.
• Resolve design issues identified by manufacturing, test, customer and warranty feedback.
• Utilize CAD software to design components and systems.
• Prepare sketches, layouts, models, drawings and specs.
• Assist with design reviews, FEA/FMEA, cost reduction and optimization efforts.
• Prepare reports on analysis, test performance, schedules and cost information.
