Job summary

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. seeks an Engineer I to begin a hands-on career in product design, engineering and documentation for our crawler crane product line in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

You’ll work with senior engineers on design reviews, test analysis and documentation, using Creo CAD and other 3D tools, while gaining experience in a manufacturing environment near Lake Michigan.

This entry-level role reports to the Sr. Manager of Engineering and travels up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo.
• General knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new product design and documentation.
• Resolve design issues from manufacturing, test, and warranty feedback.
• Use CAD to design components and systems.
• Prepare concept sketches, layouts, models, drawings.
• Support design reviews, FEA, and cost reduction efforts.
• Coordinate testing and validation activities.
