Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering; 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with a solid modeling CAD program, preferably Solidworks.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 13485, GMP and medical device industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications to define mechanical design requirements.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings; perform tolerance analysis.
• Develop prototypes and design verification protocols; test data analysis.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams for fabrication, inspection, and testing.
• Train technicians on new process techniques.
